What it is
Pangi is a two-factor authentication app for iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch and Mac. Secrets live in the Apple Keychain behind Face ID, Touch ID or Optic ID, and codes are one glance away through home and lock screen widgets, watch complications, AutoFill and a menu bar companion on the Mac.
Accounts can sync through your private iCloud database, encrypted on the device before upload, and backups export as AES-256-GCM encrypted files. It imports from Google Authenticator, matches brand icons for more than 150 services, keeps recovery codes next to each account and is available in English and German.
Why it exists
Getting a code usually means unlocking the phone and hunting for the right entry. Pangi shortens that path on every device a login might ask from, and it does so without an account, ads or third-party analytics.
